Running the Spiritual Race
What does a triathlon have to do with the Communion of Saints? Fr. Mike Schmitz draws parallels between his experience of completing a triathlon and the believer’s experience of journeying to heaven. Mike reminds us that if we find ourselves struggling in this journey, we should remember that we are surrounded by “a cloud of witnesses” that is more impressive than a stadium filled with sports fans.
